For those who want to understand and experience Tunisia under its different facets, this tour is ideal. Starting from the northern part of the country with the famous site of Carthage and Bardo Museum, you will little by little discover all the most interesting archaeological sites like Sbeitla or the antique Suffeitula with its capital and forum and the coliseum of El Jem, one of the best preserved in the world.

You will also discover the capital of El Jerid, Tozeur. Its palm trees are famous for the dates (deglet nour) in the region. Moreover, you can appreciate the visit to the mountain oasis of Chebika and Mides with its canyons and waterfalls.

Then you will go to Douz, the door of the Sahara, where you can appreciate a camel tour on the sand dunes at sunset or rise!

Day 1: Arrival at Tunis or Monastir Airport

Day 2: Tunis / Bardo / Carthage and Sidi Bou Saîd (60 Km).
  • Breakfast, departure for the National Museum Bardo
  • Visit the different departments
  • Free time in Medina of Tunis
  • Departure of Carthage. Lunch in a 3-star restaurant
  • After lunch, visit the archaeological site of Carthage and the village of Sidi Bou Saïd
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 3: Tunis / Kairouan / Gafsa / Tozeur (430 Km).

  • Departure for Kairouan via El Fahs
  • A visit to the holy city : the Great Mosque, the Barbier (barber) Mausoleum, the Basins of the Aghlabide Dynasty and the Medina

Day 4: Tozeur / Douz (125 Km).

  • Stop to relax at the rest stop. Continue to Hammamet

Day 8: Departure from  Tunis
