Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Friguia Park was set up in collaboration with specialists from South Africa and Europe and participates in a vast world-wide conservation project for species of animals that are in the process of disappearance. (ISIS)

Located in a beautiful natural setting, the animal park is 36 hectares and is between Sousse and Hammamet. More than 30 African species live in large enclosures in the park including lions, giraffes, ostriches, elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, wild dogs and birds amongst many others.

Animal specialists interact with visitors, showing the needs of various animals. For certain types of animals, such as apes or birds, guests can participate in the animal's nourishment.
