Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

The Hotel Phenicia is an Eco Hotel and has got more than 600 solar energy panels, the most important installation in the entire Mediterranean area, covering more than 1000 square metres and making important energy savings. The Phenecia also has created a water- recycling station that treats 250 cubic metres of water daily and is used to water the large garden.

Hotel Phenicia received ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate in July 2005, and also was certified  in accordance with the international HACCP Hygiene Standards and the safety for its visitors, staff and environment.
